Thoughts of the Season

The month of January is always a time of renewal for me. I am determined to start the new year with a sense of purpose and hope for the future.

My goals, intentions, resolutions for the New Year are:

~ Save more, spend less.
~ Take less, give more.
~ Keep an uncluttered mind and house.
~ Drink good wine and use the good china.
~ Travel, laugh, drink good wine and use the good china ~ often.

Happy New Year!

Dance Life

My passion is also my work. I am fortunate to work at the largest dance studio in my area. Our advanced dancers were invited to perform as the entertainment for the annual Merrill Lynch Grand Gala, a benefit event that serves as a major fundraiser for local charities.

As with all jobs, I have good days and bad days. The faces you see are the reasons why I do what I do. It was a very good day.....

A Dancer's First Post

Greetings and welcome to my first attempt at the blog world.

I have no idea how I am going to find the time to maintain this blog! A good friend, who is as busy as I am these days, has her own blog and has inspired me to create my own. She always has me anticipating her next post, so Julie, this one's for you!

My first post is dedicated to my friend, Julie. I credit her for expanding my wine horizons, introducing me to H20 + and Thymes (check out their fantastic websites!) and sharing a love of shopping and reading. Between us, there is not a magazine left unopened, although we actually do read books. I can always count on Julie to have a chilled bottle of wine waiting after a particularly horrific day at work. All this and she is only two doors down!

Julie and I have the distinct pleasure of serving on the Board of Directors for our newly formed Neighborhood Association, Olde Norwood. We have an official voice in the community and it is a responsibility we are looking forward to fulfilling.

Until my next post.....wishing you a beautiful Autumn season!
